WHAT?
Pyro Poet Tiff Beatty opens and closes each cypher with spoken word. Art Is Bonfire, the title of one of Tiff's poems is also the official name of Chicago's only bonfire cypher, a seasonal monthly cypher for poets and cultural workers at Promontory Point Park, last Sundays, Jun-Sep.
WHO?
Attention poets, storytellers, emcees, singers, in-the-closet-writers, you are invited to share! There is no list. Tiff will let you know how you will know when its your time to share. There are no features. The fire is the cypher. Respect it. This event is accessible, free, and open to the public.

Walk east at 55th (under) Lake Shore Dr. Take 3 long breaths. Exit tunnel. Look on the sidewalk for "Art Is Bonfire." Follow the arrows to the fire cypher.

Last Sundays (Jun 28 Jul 26 Aug 30 Sep 27 . Sunset until the park closes (11PM)
